A specialist for the surface you live on.
Loom & Layer is a Prostar Group brand, established 2026, serving residential and commercial flooring projects across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland from an office in Burnaby.
We don't operate a public showroom. We meet with clients by appointment — at our Burnaby office or in your home — and curate samples to the project rather than asking you to navigate a wall of them. The materials we carry are chosen for how they age, not for how they show off on day one.
The work spans single-room refreshes through to whole-home installs, strata unit turnovers, and hospitality and office tenant improvements. The crew on the install is our own people or long-term partners we've worked with for years.

Honest specification
We say what a material does well and what it doesn't. The right floor for the room often isn't the one with the highest margin, and we'd rather you have the right floor.

Craft over volume
We'd rather complete fewer projects each year and stand behind every one of them than chase volume and skip the details. Our installers are trained, paid properly, and treated as part of the team.

Quotes that match orders, orders that match installs, invoices that match what we said the work would cost. Changes happen in writing before we proceed — never after the fact.
